About Us
Taylor Lake Christian Montessori School
We are a small, private school in the Clear Lake, Texas area. Our Early Childhood Montessori curriculum is suited to children from ages 3 to 6 years old, including Kindergarten. Although we are a Christian based school, our enrollment is open to students of all religious backgrounds. We celebrate all of our students, their families, cultures, and beliefs.
TLC Montessori School has a consistent, experienced and well trained staff, with over 30 years teaching experience combined. Our staff is certified by the American Montessori Society.
Our classroom community is small, warm and friendly and we maintain an exceptionally low student-to–teacher ratio. Our environment is light, open and inviting and filled with beautiful Montessori materials. Along with the daily lessons we offer in language, math, science and geography we also offer practical life lessons that teach children how to take care of themselves and their environment. We also have a special program in fine arts that highlights famous artists from around the world, with every other year culminating in an art show highlighting the childrens' masterpieces! Beginning this year, we have added a computer science curriculum that will teach the ins and outs of computers as well as computer coding.
